I just 'discovered' what a cool song Don't Let me Die Still Wondering (by flogging molly, of course), so i made this with a pic from quetico. I don't know what to think...it's ok i guess. Make some comments people (they should work now.)

Morp was last night, it was fun ('cept for the first half hour, haha). Ed and I's suits kicked ass (we decided that for our careers we should be grifters), and lots of people seemed kind of surprised they cost less than the price of the morp ticket. And after morp we pulled a successful caper, so overall it was a pretty good night.

It's really hard for you to comprehend just how big this fire was...seriously, it was just... huge.

To try and give you some sense of scale...that roundish thing near the bottom of the fire is a table top that was about 6-7 feet in diameter.

an interesting point on the cropping...looking over it again, i kind of like the original, but think it would look better cropped differently. It was hard to get a good angle on the apple as there was flatbed trailer loaded with wooden pallets in the yard (which i obviously didn't want in the background) so that kind of limited the angles i could take the pic from.

I had my SLR out up north this weekend, so my digital got demoted to quick snapshot duty. Here's a few. Similar (hopefully better) photos of the same subjects may appear in the coming weeks, when i get my film developed...

There's two deer in there, actually. I took two photos on film, then pulled out my digital camera, and just then they high-tailed it (literally) out of there, so i didn't get much.

As it has become tradition, I have yet again destroyed the binder from my most disliked class of the past school year. As nothing ever really got done on time for AP Lang, it was only fitting that the notebook be destroyed about two months after summer vacation began, better late than never as they say.
For those who haven't been following the saga, freshman year's binder was the dreaded Zwada bio book, which was shot, axed, then finally doused in gasoline and burned. Last year was Math, which got branded with a hot iron and then later burned. Always seeking to one-up last years method of destruction, this year, I decided to hit my binder with a truck. While it didn't exactly destroy it, it was certainly one of the most amusing ways I've thought of thus far, at least my sister thought so, as you'll see.

I got this necklace from my uncle when I was confirmed.

The story varies slighty depending where you hear it from, but this is a good telling of the legend.

Finally took the time to put up all these pictures from quetico. It was a fun trip, I can't say it was as good as isle royale, but still a blast.

Taken on the 2003 band trip, with my long deceased kodak camera. Speaking of band trips..I can't friggin wait to go to disney, it's gonna rock, (of course, all band trips do!). Needless to say Orlando will me much warmer than Boston, and probably more glamorus than Cleveland, but I really loved Boston for how short we were there, and it was one definatley of the best trips too.

This was obviously not taken by me, but my mom rather. This past saturday I was lucky enough to be in two relays that got times for the MISCA meet, held at Eastern Michigan University. The MISCA meet, to my best understanding, comprises the top 60 times in the state for each time, the two relays I was a part of were ranked somewhere in the high 50's. haha. I loved the EMU pool, it was fast, and was gigantic (50m x 25yd and 17ft at the deepest), the same could not be said for deck space however and it was quite cramped as you can see. Though the majority of time was spent waiting, the relays were really exciting and we racked up some best times, and I got best times on my splits too. So...where am I?

Half out of boredom, and half out of hopes of this spring doing a triathalon, i decided to go for a run tonight. In a sense, I don't run, I've never really liked it, or the hell it plays on my feet after a few weeks of it, as in football. Nevertheless, 10:30 on a friday with a 12 degree temperature in late january seemed like the perfect time to start, only went about 2 and half miles, and stopped to take this stupid picture of the opposite side of lakeshore, which follows.
